A motherly presence in the Church community through prayer and guidance.
Christian Mothers offer a motherly presence in the Church community. Following the example of Mary our Blessed Mother, they provide guidance in family life and help women grow in the Catholic faith and in sacramental communion with the Church.
Their activities include visitation to sick parishioners, rosary devotion, and other Christian prayers. All women who are in good standing in the Church can join the Christian Mothers. Their feast day is 8th December, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.
