New Executive Committee for St. Teresa’s Society

St. Teresa’s Society Amsterdam has installed a new Executive Committee to lead the branch from 2026 to 2029. The installation took place at All Saints Catholic Church, with visiting representatives from the United Kingdom and Germany.

Parish Announcements

  • This coming Friday, there will be a Communion Service at 18:00, followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. All parishioners are warmly encouraged to come and take part in this prayer session.
  • This coming Sunday, there will be two Holy Masses: The First Mass at 11:00 AM and the Second Mass at 1:00 PM.
  • Lay Readers for next Sunday: 1st Mass: Dr. Richard and Sister Lovinia. 2nd Mass: Mr. Eric A. Mainoo and Madam Ann Newton.
  • The Harvest Committee appeals to all Society Leaders to help collect the Harvest Levy from their members. Parishioners who do not belong to any society may pay at the Board Office or directly to any Harvest Committee member. Those who made pledges during the unveiling of the Harvest Banner are kindly reminded to fulfill them by paying to any harvest committee member or at the harvest desk in the hall.
  • This coming Sunday is the Third Sunday of the month. Therefore, Bible Study will take place after the First Mass. We will also have our Pre-Harvest Collection during both Masses in support of our upcoming Harvest Celebration. We encourage everyone to participate generously.
  • A parishioner is urgently looking for a one- or two-bedroom apartment. If you have one available or know of any suitable accommodation, kindly contact the Church Secretary.
  • Mama Elizabeth Ehigiene invites the parish community to the traditional wedding celebration of her daughter, Susan Ehigiene and Mike Jansen, coming Saturday, 19th September at 6:00 PM, at Rhoneweg 12-14, 1043 AH Amsterdam. The dress code is festive. Let us come together to support and celebrate with our mother on this joyful occasion.
  • VisionCare Den Haag will be visiting our community this coming Saturday, 19th September, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to continue providing eye care and advice to those who have registered with them. All registered members scheduled for this Saturday are kindly encouraged to come on time for their appointments.
  • Our brother, Samuel Botchway, has sadly lost his father in Ghana. Let us remember him and his family in our prayers and reach out to him during this difficult time.
  • Our brother, Yaw Agyen, is inviting all parishioners to the one-week celebration of the passing of his mother, which will be held here at our church on Friday, 25th September, from 18:00 to 22:00. Let us all come and support our brother in Christ during this difficult time. Thank you.
  • Special prayers and blessings for those who requested today's mass.

Mass Intentions

  • Madam Jacinta is thanking God for the life of her son, Darlington, who celebrated his birthday last Tuesday. She prays that God will continue to bless and protect him, his siblings, and the entire family.
  • Mama Barbara is thanking God for the safe delivery of Sister Emmanuella's baby girl. She prays for God's continued protection, grace, and blessings upon both mother and baby.
  • Mr. Kofi Yeboah is thanking God for the gift of life as he celebrated his 60th birthday last Wednesday. He prays for God's continued blessings, protection, and guidance upon him, his family back home, and all his loved ones.
  • Brother Samuel Botchway is praying for the peaceful repose of the soul of his late father, Mr. George Botchway, whose sad passing occurred last Sunday in Ghana. He prays that the Lord grant him eternal rest and console and comfort the entire family during this difficult time.
